[Hiring] Senior System Engineer @EPAM Systems

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer with a background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping, supporting and advancing cloud-based solutions that drive our organization’s growth.

• Direct the rollout of scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP technologies such as GKE, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armour and CloudSQL
• Supervise the configuration of automated software delivery pipelines leveraging Jenkins
• Administer the orchestration of infrastructure resources through Terraform templates
• Employ Bash and Python scripts to streamline operational workflows
• Design systems for real-time performance tracking and event logging
• Partner with various departments to enable the adoption of Vertex AI where it adds value
• Safeguard the environment by applying security and reliability protocols throughout the system lifecycle
• Compile comprehensive guides and process records to support team learning and onboarding
• Investigate and resolve advanced technical incidents to sustain uninterrupted service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in managing cloud-based platforms, with a focus on GCP
• Proficiency in utilizing GKE, Cloud CDN and Cloud Armour within production environments
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD automation with Jenkins, Bash or Python
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Competency in implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions
• English language skills at B2 level or higher
