[Hiring] Senior Oracle Database Administrator @Conduent State Healthcare, LLC

Role Description

Conduent is seeking an Oracle DBA to manage the full lifecycle of Oracle database systems, ensuring availability, performance, and data security. The role spans on-premises and cloud environments and requires deep knowledge of Oracle technologies, scripting, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Database Administration support for business-critical applications in production and non-production environments.
• Ensure DB availability.
• Administer Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: RHEL and Windows.
• Install and configure Oracle Server 19c/23i RAC on multi-node systems.
• Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud Control.
• Upgrade Oracle databases.
• Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed.
• Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
• Apply Oracle patches that involve security patches / bug fixes in non-production and production environments.
• Administer Oracle GoldenGate, create extract, replicate, monitor replication, troubleshooting.
• Implement security measures including SSL and encryption.
• Develop and support database maintenance scripts.
• Develop and maintain database design and support documentation.
• Configure Active Data Guard and automatic failover using Data Guard Broker.
• Configure container and pluggable databases.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Oracle Database Administration Professional with more than 7 years of experience.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Control 13c or later.
• Operating system experience in Linux.
• 3 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
• 3 years of experience with administration of Oracle RAC.
• Familiarity with Oracle management tools (Data Guard, Active Data Guard, RMAN, Data Loader).
• Experience with administrating databases on Exadata and Azure.
• Knowledge of Oracle Partitioning.
• Strong Unix scripting skills.
• Good problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter, ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility.

Preferred Skills

• Database Administrator experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with administering MongoDB.
• Oracle Certified Professional.
