Role Description

The Senior Application Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications. Key duties include:

• Maintaining business-critical software systems.
• Leading software installations and upgrades.
• Designing and testing disaster recovery procedures.
• Conducting recurring tests.
• Creating technical documentation for software systems architecture, integrations, and subsystems.
• Establishing and maintaining monitoring and proactive event management.
• Providing tier 4 technical support during service degradation in collaboration with the Tiered Support and Application teams.
• Ensuring software systems comply with technology and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar focus and 5-7 years experience as an application support engineer or closely related positions.
• HS diploma or equivalent and 10 years of experience as an application support engineer or closely related positions.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) Preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Preferred.
• Agile & Scrum Certifications Preferred.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals Preferred.
• ITIL 4 Foundation Preferred.

Requirements

• Must be willing to be vaccinated against seasonal influenza.
• Must provide immunization records as proof of vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), chicken pox (varicella), and tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap).
• Medical and/or religious exemptions can be discussed with Human Resources.
