[Hiring] Senior Application Reliability Analyst @Health Care Service Corporation

Role Description

This position is responsible for analysis related to optimizing reliability / stability objectives for our HCSC Technology Application Reliability Engineering and Support (ARES) team. The role of the Senior Reliability Analyst is focused on ensuring Reliability Engineering is supported with data and best practice methodologies to ensure reliability challenges and potential gaps are systematically addressed.

• Support operational excellence related to traditional IT Application Maintenance Support (AMS).
• Ensure optimized uptime for all production applications.
• Work independently on assigned projects, supporting operational efficiency and process solutions.
• Collaborate with management, technical staff, and subject matter advisors to understand business needs/issues.
• Develop cost-effective resolutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Represent the ARES team in meetings with management and other business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years Information Technology experience; OR Tech Certification in Computer Science with 7 years Information Technology experience; OR 9 years Information Technology experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS, Mobile and web technologies, Data center platforms (servers, storage), End user platforms (desktops, laptops, mobile).
• Experience in Application and server operations and application configuration.
• Familiarity with Iterative / agile / scrum development tools, and System architectures and application portfolio.
• Detail-oriented.
• Data analysis.
• Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Proactively addresses problems and escalates appropriately.
• Problem solving / analytical thinking.
