[Hiring] Microsoft 365 Optimization Specialist @Helpware

Role Description

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Optimization Specialist to support our IT Operations team with an ongoing Microsoft 365 optimization project. The role will focus on improving the use, management, and governance of Microsoft 365 services while the internal IT team continues to handle day-to-day infrastructure operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and automation tools. They will help optimize existing environments, improve workflows, strengthen governance, and support the adoption of Microsoft Copilot solutions.

Project Duration: 6+ months

Working Hours: US time zone

English Level: B2 or higher (conversational English required)

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and optimization initiatives.
• Review and improve Microsoft 365 governance, policies, and operational processes.
• Manage and optimize SharePoint Online sites, permissions, and collaboration structures.
• Support Microsoft Teams administration and configuration.
• Develop and optimize workflows using Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
• Support the implementation, configuration, and adoption of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Review and improve access management, security settings, and environment configurations.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the IT Operations team to assess existing processes and implement improvements.
• Document configurations, workflows, governance standards, and optimization recommendations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and optimization.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams administration.
• Practical knowledge of Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, access management, permissions, and governance.
• Experience reviewing existing environments and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical processes and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Conversational English at B2 level or higher.
• Availability to work in the US time zone.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 governance frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management.
• Experience with Power Platform environment management and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Experience implementing AI-powered solutions or automating business processes using Microsoft Copilot.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
