[Hiring] IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer @AgileEngine

Role Description

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers, and storage systems.
• Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Cisco Certification a plus.
• AWS/Azure Certifications a plus.
• Networking certifications preferred.
• Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
• Experience with ITIL a plus.
• Experience with Linux a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare, life-science, pharma, or bio company a plus.

Requirements

• Network Equipment Experience: hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with a cloud-first approach.
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment required.
• Self-sufficient, self-managed, self-motivated, must be effective working independently.
• A service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.
• High energy and ability to work independently in a very fast growth environment.
• Discipline to document your work required.
• Ability to work with a project-oriented approach for deliverables.
• Work schedule flexibility required as some work must be completed after business hours.
• Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers.
• Experience operating in a 24x7 international company (US & EMEA).
• Excellent interaction and communication skills; ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
