[Hiring] Head of IT @Scalable GmbH

Role Description

• IT Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the company’s IT roadmap.
• Cloud Administration & Maintenance: Administer, optimize, and maintain our cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace / AWS), ensuring high availability and executing routine system updates.
• 1st & 2nd Level Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal tech issues—handling everything from daily helpdesk tickets and smooth employee onboarding to advanced hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Security Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Security team to maintain robust infrastructure, enforce access controls, and uphold company-wide security standards.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Extensive experience in IT operations, with a proven track record in shaping IT strategy or taking on leadership responsibility.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record in directly leading and developing teams of at least 5 people.
• Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in cloud administration as well as providing 1st and 2nd level IT support across [Mac/Windows] environments.
• Security Mindset: Strong foundational knowledge of network security, identity management (IAM), and cybersecurity best practices.
• Soft Skills & Mindset: A proactive "player-coach" mentality, excellent communication skills, and a strong passion for helping people and driving tech excellence.
