[Hiring] Epic Certified Inpatient Orders IT EMR Analyst @Southern Illinois Healthcare

Role Description

The EHR Applications Analyst will have primary responsibility for:

• Requirement gathering, design, build/configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support of assigned Epic application(s) and third-party systems.
• Obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of software functionality and operational workflows to be implemented with the Epic system.
• Coordinating planning, design, development, implementation, adoption, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to Epic and related information systems.
• Managing projects related to Epic and related third-party systems.
• Participating in on-call rotation including weekend and after-hours coverage as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, IT, or Healthcare Related field required or 2 years of IT or healthcare experience in lieu of degree.

Requirements

• Relevant job-related certifications with Epic application certification within 90 days of hire, as applicable.
• Understanding of the organization, users, and workflow in the analyst’s assigned area.
• Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage issues, and oversee implementation of project plans.
• Ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community.
• Thoroughly review, analyze, and test every system change; follow proper change control processes.
• Assist in the development, implementation, education, evaluation, maintenance, and coordination of Epic and related applications.
• Assist with and/or develop tip sheets or training documentation for new or changes to current workflows.
• Maintain an Epic user web account to access group discussions, white papers, training documents, and release notes.
• Maintain contacts with Epic partners and related vendors; attend product demonstrations and user group meetings.
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects, including project definition and assignment of task responsibilities.
• Perform other related work as required.
• Train and mentor team members.

Benefits

• Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $76,003.20 to $117,811.20.
