[Hiring] Director, Infrastructure Architecture @KLDiscovery

Role Description

KLDiscovery is hiring a Director of Infrastructure Architecture to set and own the technical architecture across the platforms that host client matters and data — including our Nebula and Relativity environments — and the cloud, storage, network, and security foundations that support them. This is a player/coach role created to bring deliberate, consistent architectural direction to a portfolio of client-platform initiatives.

The Director will be the senior technical authority for decisions that span:

• Multi-tenant client-hosting architecture
• Client data residency and sovereignty
• Hosting region strategy
• Performance for review and processing workloads
• Storage tiering for client matters

They will translate business priorities to build a coherent target-state architecture. The right person is equally comfortable shaping multi-year strategy and rolling up their sleeves to guide an active migration.

We offer competitive total compensation that includes base pay, bonus potential, inclusive benefits, wellness programs, and perks. Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000.

Job location: Remote (but candidate must be based in the United States)

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture roles
• Several years setting architecture direction for multi-tenant client-hosting environments at scale on Microsoft Azure
• Deep expertise in infrastructure and storage architecture
• Strong command of cloud and network strategy
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture across concurrent, cross-functional programs
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
• Excellent communication skills
