[Hiring] Desktop Support Engineer @NCR Atleos

Role Description

Providing the support for all help desk related tasks including:

• Answering questions
• Troubleshooting problems
• Teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality
• Troubleshooting printer issues and resolving difficulties

Identified, troubleshot, and resolved hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the district network, the internet, the mainframe, and PCs.

Used the established tracking system to:

• Log requests
• Monitor progress
• Track problem resolution

Identified patterns of failure, researched bug fixes, and implemented solutions.

Worked with vendors to resolve hardware operating system issues.

Answered, evaluated, and prioritized incoming requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with:

• Hardware
• Software
• Networking
• Other computer-related technologies across a global company

Configured and installed Windows workstations and Macintosh operating systems in response to the demands of a complex network design.

Accessed software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQs resources on the intranet to assist with end users’ issues.

Installed, certified, and troubleshot the campus and remote campus network cabling infrastructure including a wide variety of local area network equipment and software.

Trained end-users on the use and features of various operating systems and applications on various platforms.

Demonstrated customer service skills, such as actively listening to customers in order to assist effectively.

Qualifications
