[Hiring] SOC Analyst @Cynet

Role Description

As a CyOps SOC Analyst, you will:

• Investigate security alerts generated by the Cynet platform.
• Detect threats and support live incident response engagements.
• Analyze suspicious programs and software.
• Classify malware based on observed behaviors and known threats.
• Contribute threat intelligence and malware analysis reports.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical experience within the network, IT, or cyber security domains.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols (e.g. HTTP, DNS).
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to understand and learn complex technological systems and identify critical areas.
• Exceptional analytical skills and creative out-of-the-box thinking.
• Strong presentations and training skills.
• Experience in operating security tools (e.g. FW, IDS, SIEM, Endpoint protection).
• Working as an analyst in a Cyber SOC - an advantage.
• Experience in exposing and exploiting vulnerabilities - an advantage.

Requirements

• Previous experience performing incident response in a Security Operations Center or an equivalent cybersecurity organization.
• Hands-on experience with host and network digital forensics.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting.
• Expertise in identifying the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors.
• Familiarity with malware analysis.
• Ability to coordinate assignments within a team and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language.
• Experience monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions is an advantage.

Benefits

• The offered annual salary range for this role is USD 10,000–13,000.
• Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including seniority level and relevant experience.
