Role Description

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage, backup, recovery, and replication incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery operations across critical business systems.
• Troubleshoot backup failures, storage performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and data protection incidents.
• Support and maintain backup and recovery operations across Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Analyze system logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with customers, cross-functional teams, and OEM vendors for issue resolution and escalations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years of experience in technical support, storage administration, backup operations, or infrastructure support.
• Strong understanding of enterprise backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, RAID, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting backup jobs, storage performance issues, and system-level incidents.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and ITIL-based support processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
