Role Description

The Dr. Brown Group is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity & IT Systems Specialist to oversee the security, reliability, and performance of our international technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for protecting company and patient data, maintaining cloud-based systems, supporting our global workforce, implementing cybersecurity best practices, and leading IT projects across our healthcare, education, retail, laboratory, and technology businesses. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations while supporting innovation through AI, cloud computing, automation, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity
  • Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy.
  • Monitor networks and cloud infrastructure for threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement Zero Trust security architecture.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation.
  • Manage phishing prevention and security awareness training.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular security audits.
  • Ensure encryption of sensitive company and patient data.
  • Develop incident response procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity.
• Experience supporting cloud-based organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
