Role Description

We are seeking a Cloud / Systems Engineer to support a federal government customer. The engineer will provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure, servers, and enterprise applications.

• Administer and support GCP, AWS, and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Support Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Shared Drives, Groups, Meet, and user administration.
• Manage cloud servers, virtual machines, storage, networking, users, roles, and permissions.
• Monitor system availability, performance, security, backups, and infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, network, authentication, and application issues.
• Support Windows and Linux systems, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Assist with security configurations and vulnerability remediation.
• Support application deployments, migrations, backup, and recovery activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Work with application, network, cybersecurity, help desk, and government customer teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of cloud, systems administration, or infrastructure support experience.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity/access management, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Bachelors in IT or related technologies.

Requirements

• Federal government IT support experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, RMF, and ATO environments (preferred).
• Experience with Google Cloud Identity, IAM, monitoring, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID (preferred).
• Google Cloud, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, or CompTIA certifications are a plus (preferred).
