[Hiring] Cloud Engineer @Trulieve

Role Description

The Cloud Engineer supports the reliability, performance, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Trulieve's cloud-hosted platforms and business-critical applications across AWS, managed hosting environments, New Relic observability, load testing, deployment validation, and Snowflake platform services. The role translates telemetry into actionable insights, contributes to incident response, develops dashboards and reporting, and automates repeatable operational processes using scripting, APIs, Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake CoCo, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Operations & Platform Support:
  • Support the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of reliable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
  • Implement and validate infrastructure changes across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Create and maintain Azure DevOps work items and vendor support requests.
  • Coordinate technical activities with Webscale and other providers.
• Monitoring, Observability & Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain New Relic dashboards, alerts, logging integrations, and application-performance views.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application health using various tools.
  • Produce recurring infrastructure KPI reporting.
• Performance & Load-Test Support:
  • Monitor infrastructure and application behavior during load tests.
  • Participate in pre-load-test checklist reviews.
• Automation & Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop scripts, API integrations, workflow automations, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD improvements.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake CoCo, APIs, and approved AI-assisted technologies.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
  • Investigate and resolve cloud, application, database, and performance incidents.
  • Participate in Post-Incident Reviews and root-cause analysis.
• Security, Governance, Reliability & Cost:
  • Apply cloud-security best practices.
  • Review cloud resources, permissions, configurations, and monitoring coverage.
  • Evaluate utilization, availability, scalability, and capacity.
• Documentation & Collaboration:
  • Create and maintain runbooks, support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with various teams and external providers.
  • Participate in Cloud Center of Excellence activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, DevOps, observability, technical operations, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with New Relic or a comparable enterprise monitoring platform.
• Experience with scripting, APIs, workflow automation, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ability to participate in incident response, planned deployments, and load-test activities.
• Ability to translate technical evidence into clear conclusions.

Requirements

• Experience with New Relic APM, Infrastructure, Logs, NRQL, alerts, and synthetics.
• Experience supporting high-volume eCommerce platforms and load testing.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Microsoft Copilot, Git/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, Ansible, or containers.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or comparable certification.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
