[Hiring] Application Support (L2) @Hitss

Role Description

The Application Support (L2) will be responsible for providing L2 support, performing Root Cause Analysis on technical problems on both lower tiers and production environments running both Windows and Linux servers. The AS will support program tasks related to support of Production applications and processing of insurance policies.

• The AS will support our critical incident response team for production issues that involve SQL, Java, .NET, and other technologies.
• The AS will support ongoing operations that are more technically complex than those performed by our L1 support team.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting apps developed on Java or C#.
• Intermediate SQL queries for table searching, working with stored procedures, etc. (MUST-HAVE).
• 3+ Years’ experience in system logs, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Working experience with support ticket tools, ServiceNow / ITIL background a plus but not required, overall understanding of SLA concepts, prioritization.
• Familiarity with VM software.
• Familiarity with cloud technology.
• Overall understanding of different protocols and technologies, able to troubleshoot web application issues related to them, perform validation of API interfaces, review related logs and monitor performance.
• Advanced English communication skills (MUST-HAVE).
