Role Description

The Application, Database & Security Administrator is responsible for building, implementing, operating, and supporting application and database environments while ensuring system availability, performance, security, and operational stability.

• Oversees and tunes system performance.
• Establishes and manages user and database access controls.
• Helps prevent, monitor, investigate, and address security events.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance to other IT resources.
• Requires strong hands-on experience with production application support, Microsoft environments, Microsoft SQL administration, security and access controls, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and operational processes.
• Experience supporting financial or banking applications is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or another related field.
• An equivalent combination of education, professional training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in IT operations, IT applications, and security administration.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working with different types of computer environments.
• Experience supporting banking environments is desired.
• Experience supporting financial or other business-critical applications in production environments.
• Experience working with Microsoft environments and Microsoft SQL administration.
• Experience coordinating application support activities with software vendors and internal technology teams.
• Experience analyzing business needs, operational workflows, and complex processes.
• Experience writing technical procedures and operational documentation.

Benefits

• Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract.
• Intermediate Position: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AST.
• Junior Position: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AST.
• After-hours and on-call support may be required for critical production issues.

• English: Intermediate proficiency.
