[Hiring] Total Rewards Specialist (Wellbeing Focus) @Medavie

Role Description

The Total Rewards Specialist (Wellbeing Focus) supports the Director of Total Rewards in the planning, continuous improvement, and execution of Medavie’s wellbeing strategy as part of our total rewards offering.

Guided by our values of Caring, Accountable, Responsive, Innovative, and Community-minded, you will be the subject matter expert in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion within Total Rewards. You will design and deliver initiatives that support the four pillars of wellbeing:

• Physical
• Mental
• Financial
• Social

Through data-driven insights, stakeholder collaboration, and innovative programming, you will foster a culture of wellness and engagement across the organization. You will also contribute to strategic projects that advance Medavie’s wellbeing agenda and support EXCEL, our employee value proposition. In addition, you will support employees and leaders through key stages of the disability and return-to-work process, in partnership with internal stakeholders and external providers, to facilitate safe and sustainable reintegration into the workplace.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate certificate in Workplace Wellness, Public Health, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is considered a strong asset.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace wellness or health promotion.
• Proven success in designing and evaluating ROI of wellness programs and strategy renewal.
• Experience in disability case management/return-to-work and workplace accommodations.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and partners outside Québec who operate primarily in English.

Requirements

• Solid project management experience, with the ability to manage initiatives end-to-end in complex environments.
• Good understanding of complex, multi-division organizations, with the ability to navigate and collaborate across different business units.
• A self-starter with a high level of autonomy, comfortable taking initiative and driving work forward independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
