Role Description

The Technical Talent Sourcer plays a critical role in identifying and engaging top engineering and technical talent for Ehvert Mission Critical, a business unit within Salas O'Brien, specializing in the engineering and construction management of hyperscale and AI data centers for global technology leaders such as Microsoft, Oracle, Uber, and Amazon.

  • Proactive sourcing, talent mapping, market research, and passive candidate engagement across international markets including the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, and LATAM.
  • Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership teams to build strong pipelines for highly specialized engineering and design positions.
  • Success requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ideal for someone who enjoys talent intelligence, headhunting, relationship building, and strategic sourcing for highly technical positions.

Qualifications

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills (B2 or higher).
  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, talent acquisition, or recruitment support roles.
  • Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Knowledge of advanced sourcing methodologies and Boolean search techniques.
  • Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple open searches simultaneously.
  • Experience sourcing engineering, construction, BIM/VDC, architecture, or other technical positions is strongly preferred.
  • Recruiting or sourcing experience within the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, or LATAM markets is considered a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Source and identify technical candidates for engineering, BIM/VDC, construction, architecture, scheduling, and mission-critical infrastructure roles.
  • Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, Boolean search techniques, networking, and other sourcing methods to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor research across target regions and companies.
  • Perform proactive outreach and initial candidate engagement through personalized messaging and communication campaigns.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and talent market conditions.
  • Prepare candidate summaries and sourcing notes for internal recruitment teams.
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline progress, and candidate engagement metrics.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within ATS systems and internal tracking tools.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and hiring initiatives across multiple global regions.
  • Stay informed on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability within the engineering and data center industries.
  • Provide regular sourcing progress updates and reports to management.
