[Hiring] Talent Acquisition Specialist @Staples Inc.

Role Description

As a Specialist Talent Acquisition at Staples, you will be responsible for supporting all elements of recruiting including:

• Sourcing, qualifying candidates, interviewing, and making hiring decisions for direct hire roles.
• Recruiting primarily for non-exempt or high volume roles.
• Using technology and social platforms to find ideal candidates.
• Collaborating with hiring managers to meet their talent needs.
• Supporting both full-time and temporary staffing needs.
• Nurturing relationships and actively communicating with candidates throughout the process.
• Articulating the Staples Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and the business landscape.
• Working collaboratively across the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Source Talent: Know where to find talent for each role and communicate effectively with passive candidates.
• Recruitment Marketing: Maintain active candidate pipelines and utilize social media to promote roles.
• Manage Candidate Experience: Pro-actively communicate with candidates and seek other opportunities for them across the company.
• Assess & Hire Talent: Use behavioral-based interviewing techniques and technology to screen candidates.

Requirements

• 1+ years of full life cycle recruiting
• 1+ years of using sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean searches)
• Significant understanding of using ATS, CRM, and Excel
• Understanding of current employment laws including OFCCP's guidelines for fair hiring practices
