Role Description

The Sr. Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing by:

• Reviewing payroll quality reports.
• Calculating and distributing employee payments.
• Resolving payroll discrepancies through detailed data analysis.
• Managing payroll-related cases, adjustments, garnishments, levies, court orders, refunds, returned checks, and unclaimed property processing.
• Coordinating with creditors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Supporting audit documentation requests.
• Maintaining compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
• Providing operational support across payroll functions.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Finance related field preferred.
• Substantial professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• 1+ years of payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical experience.

Requirements

• Moderate experience with Microsoft Office 365 toolset, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate functions), Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Ability to navigate between multiple applications.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills; listening, verbal, and written.
• Ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality expectations.
• Ability to adapt to change in processes, systems, etc.
• Ability to work virtually under minimal supervision, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Benefits

• Compensation Range: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly.
• This role is eligible for a base salary within the posted range.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and geographic location.
• Compensation may vary for positions based in high cost-of-labor markets.
