Role Description

Canary is scaling quickly, and we need an experienced Senior Recruiter to own our hiring process across the EMEA and APAC regions. This isn’t a role where you’ll just be following a pre-set manual; you’ll be expected to figure out what’s working, fix what isn't, and lead the charge on finding our next 50+ hires across every department, from Engineering to Sales.

• Collaborate with hiring managers across all departments—technical and non-technical—to define core competencies, draft precise job descriptions, and establish effective interview workflows.
• Lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy for our EMEA and APAC offices, ensuring our hiring practices translate effectively across different global markets.
• Execute the entire hiring process, including sourcing, initial screening, and interview management for a diverse range of roles.
• Proactively identify and engage qualified talent through LinkedIn, professional networks, and targeted outreach to maintain a healthy global pipeline.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all applicants, ensuring a consistent, professional, and transparent experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Ensure the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) remains accurate and up to date to provide leadership with clear visibility into the hiring funnel.
• Act as the primary liaison for recruitment agencies and search firms when supplemental support is required for specialized searches.
• Track and communicate key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and source effectiveness, to help optimize the talent acquisition strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a fast-growing SaaS company.
• Proven track record of hiring for both technical (Engineering/Product) and non-technical (G&A/Sales) roles.
• Experience recruiting within the EMEA or APAC regions and an understanding of the nuances in those talent markets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Strong professional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and provide consultative advice to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to use data to identify trends, address hiring bottlenecks, and improve overall recruitment efficiency.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift based on business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Requirements

• $85,000 - $120,000 a year
• The base salary range for this role is $85,000–$120,000 annually plus a performance-based bonus. This role may also include the opportunity to earn equity. This is subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s skill level, experience, and specific work location.
