Become a People Operations Specialist for Bloomreach!

In the People Operations team, we take care of Bloomreachers from the moment they accept the job offer. Together with the other People team units (Talent Acquisition, Workplace Experience, Total Rewards, and Business Partners) we form the People team reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.

We are responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and payroll operations. We operate across 10+ countries on 3 continents, and we're continuously raising the bar on automation, accuracy, and employee experience. You'll join our CEE People Operations sub-team based in Bratislava (2 days in office a week is minimum) and take ownership of operations for colleagues across Czech Republic and Germany (roughly 100+ Bloomreachers) working closely with teammates and regional stakeholders.

This is a role for someone who can own their space independently, bring structure to complexity, and proactively look for ways to do things smarter.

The salary range starts at 2 200€ gross per month, along with stock options and other benefits. We enable our employees to work in one of our Central European offices or from home on a full-time basis.

Your Job Will Be To:

• Own HR administration end-to-end for your assigned regions - employment contracts, salary amendments, promotions, parental leaves, relocations, absences - ensuring full legal compliance at all times
• Drive smooth onboarding and offboarding for employees and ensure all lifecycle changes are processed accurately and on time
• Manage payroll inputs and outputs in close collaboration with payroll providers (Accace, Deel), ensuring data accuracy within agreed monthly cycles
• Be the first point of contact for employees and managers in your regions, answering questions and resolving HR queries with speed and care
• Maintain and improve BambooHR as the source of truth for employee data - keeping records clean, processes documented, and configurations up to date
• Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Legal, Workplace Experience, and other People team sub-teams as part of our tightly integrated operating model
• Actively contribute to People team projects - from process documentation and automation initiatives to cross-regional consistency efforts, each People team specialist is having one important project per quarter to contribute to
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve - whether through smarter tooling, better documentation and applying AI to reduce manual work

Your Success Story Will Be:

• In 30 days, you'll shadow the team and take over the core operational rhythms in your regions - understanding the processes, tools, and key stakeholders, running your first live payroll in CZ and DE
• In 60 days, you'll own and run your regional operations independently, with the confidence to troubleshoot and resolve issues without guidance - and you'll have started contributing your first improvement ideas
• In 90 days, you'll be fully embedded in the team, working toward your own performance goals and actively contributing to at least one People team project or initiative

What You Bring:

Professional Experience

• 2+ years of experience in HR / People Operations, ideally including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and payroll coordination in a multi-country environment. Having experience with CZ and/or DE is welcome, however we are focusing more on eagerness to learn.
• Hands-on payroll operations experience - comfortable preparing inputs, reviewing outputs, and working with external providers (experience with Deel and Accace is a plus)
• Track record of working independently - you own your work, meet deadlines without being chased, and proactively flag issues before they become problems
• Familiarity with HR systems - BambooHR experience is a strong advantage; any modern HRIS counts
• Experience in a fast-paced, international environment preferred - you know how to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities
