[Hiring] Senior Compensation Consultant @Providence

Role Description

The Senior Compensation Consultant is instrumental in the development and ongoing administration, design, analysis and implementation of various Providence St. Joseph Health compensation programs, including:

• Pay for performance
• Salary structure design and modeling
• Complex costing scenarios
• Incentive plans

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing research, analysis and evaluation of current and proposed compensation plans
• Ensuring pay structures are competitive, equitable and cost effective
• Conducting job analysis, market analysis, pay and classification reviews
• Developing compensation recommendations and costing
• Interpreting regulatory guidelines and collective bargaining agreements for compensation related items
• Assisting in the development of internal policies/standards for compensation related programs
• Conducting data collection and analysis for special projects

Qualifications

• 5 years Compensation experience including data collection and analysis
• Working knowledge of compensation systems, wage & hour laws and exempt classifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science or related field (preferred)
• Upon hire: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation (preferred)
• Healthcare experience (preferred)
• Union environment experience (preferred)
