[Hiring] Recruiter - US Healthcare @ISTA Personnel Solutions

Role Description

As a Recruiter, you will be the engine behind the company's candidate pipeline. This is a 180-degree recruitment role — meaning it is highly candidate-facing rather than client-facing. You will be:

• Conducting back-to-back screening interviews
• Proactively sourcing clinicians across multiple platforms
• Managing your pipeline with discipline
• Building the brand's presence in online communities

This is not a commission-based role.

Please Note:

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time, subject to daylight savings)
• Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
• Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Connections via Rain, LTE, 5G, or similar are not acceptable. Applicants without a fixed fibre line will not be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable backup solution is required to manage load shedding and outages (UPS, inverter, solar, etc.). Applicants without a reliable backup solution will not be considered.
• Work Environment: Fully remote.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition — inbound and outbound
• Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced recruitment environment
• A genuine "hunter" mentality with strong proactive sourcing ability
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• High resilience and the ability to handle rejection without losing momentum
• Strong relationship-building skills and a warm, approachable personality
• Highly organised with excellent pipeline management and follow-up discipline
• Comfortable working flexible hours aligned to U.S. business hours
• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating social platforms and sourcing tools

Requirements

• Experience in U.S. healthcare or travel therapy staffing (advantageous)
• Familiarity with sourcing platforms such as Vivian or Allied Travel Careers (advantageous)
• Experience using a CRM or ATS system (advantageous)
• Social media content creation for recruitment or employer branding purposes (advantageous)
