Role Description

RigUp is hiring a Recruiter, Oil & Gas (Midstream) responsible for sourcing workers and reviewing resumes and finding opportunities for workers across multiple categories and roles. This position works closely with the greater worker recruiting team to help build and maintain the pipeline of workers to support the organization’s ability to deliver quality workers quickly and efficiently to clients.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a robust background in sourcing and recruiting, particularly within the oil and gas or skilled trades industries. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing high-volume recruiting demands efficiently and effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Recruiting and Sourcing:
    • Strive to be a student of your trade and learn the Oil and Gas business to connect with our workforce.
    • Review resumes to understand candidate experience, knowledge, certifications, etc., to quickly and efficiently identify individuals for current and potential clients.
    • Source viable candidates for a variety of roles across multiple categories.
    • Leverage internal network/platform for viable candidates.
    • Recruit potential candidates outside of RigUp using a variety of sources.
    • Sell potential candidates on the opportunity and value of RigUp to build a pipeline of available workers in the energy market.
  • Sales Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with sales partners and leadership to plan and execute the top priorities including sourcing and submittal of candidates.
  • Client Support:
    • Support the Workforce team in responding to questions or requests for workers.
    • Provide market trends and insight based on recruiting and sourcing experience for the team to inform and educate clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer or client-facing role (e.g., recruiting, sales support, success, onboarding, etc.).
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience working with account managers/executives/sales teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize multiple computer platforms at the same time for varying functions.
  • Ability to maintain relationships through texting, (cold) calling, and flexible availability based on client base.
  • Excellent ability to communicate both, written and verbally, with a variety of audiences.
  • Exceptional responsiveness and the flexibility to address client needs beyond standard business hours.

Additional experience preferred, but not required:

  • Bilingual, preferably fluent in Spanish.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, copier, and telephone.
  • Ability to use office computer programs such as e-mail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
