[Hiring] Provider Network Relations Supervisor @Alliance

Role Description

The Provider Network Relations Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with network providers, supporting providers by offering technical assistance, and recruiting providers to fulfill network needs. This position will assist in the coordination of cross-departmental initiatives, identified internally or by the State of NC, and assist in activities related to special initiatives.

This position is full-time remote. Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina and be willing to travel to the home office (Morrisville, NC) for onsite team meetings as needed.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and Develop Staff
  • Work with Human Resources and senior management to maintain and retain a highly qualified and well-trained workforce.
  • Ensure staff are well trained in and comply with all organization and department policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Organize workflows and ensure staff understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure the department has the needed tools and resources to achieve organizational goals and to support employees and ensure compliance with licensure, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Actively establish and promote a positive, diverse, and inclusive working environment that builds trust.
  • Ensure all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure standards are transparent and applied consistently, impartially, and ethically over time and across all staff members.
  • Work to resolve conflicts and disputes, ensuring that all participants are given a voice.
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in line with organization goals and vision.
  • Effectively communicate feedback and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to staff and support a learning environment to advance team skills and professional development.
  • Cultivate and encourage efforts to expand cross-team collaboration and partnership.
• Coordinate Network Provider Recruitment and Relationships
  • Assign providers to be recruited to a Provider Relations Specialist.
  • Maintain and revise recruiting workflow.
  • Ensure team received ongoing training on recruiting tasks and the use of platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Monitor recruiting goals and team progress to ensure recruiting goals are met.
  • Assure a full array of providers are available to meet the needs of the service recipients.
  • Assist in analysis of the service array and identification of gaps.
  • Work with the Director of Provider Network Operations and appropriate staff to plan, develop and implement organization goals, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university and Five (5) years of experience in counseling, nursing, psychology, social work, or related human services field.
• OR Master’s degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university and Three (3) years of experience in counseling, nursing, psychology, social work, or related human services field.
• OR Graduation from an associate degree in nursing or diploma program of nursing and 5 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable: MH/SUD/TBI/I/DD Population Supports, public speaking, mediation, presentation development, group facilitation, advocacy, regulations compliance, and project management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all disability areas including Traumatic Brain Injury, Mental Health, Substance Use, and Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles, concepts, and Best Practices used in the treatment, habilitation, and support of individuals with needs in any of the disability areas.
• Knowledge and understanding of the different systems that impact Providers.
• Knowledge and understanding of legal, waiver, and program practices/requirements and apply this knowledge in problem-solving and responding to questions/inquiries.
• Knowledge of basic Project Management Skills as they relate to New Service Development.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Ability to work successfully with interdepartmental teams including Provider Network Project Management Team, UM, CC, Claims, and other departments.

Salary Range

$91,192-$116,270/Annually. Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
