Role Description

As a member of the Global People Analytics and Experience (GPA&E) Team, the Principalโ€™s primary focus is leading the execution of key projects in the areas of Employee & Patient Experience Surveys and Advanced Analytics. The Principal will also support projects in Job Analysis & Assessment and Strategic Workforce Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Employee & Patient Experience Surveys:
    • Plays a leading role in the execution of employee and patient experience survey projects, including the Global Employee Engagement Survey and Global Patient Experience Survey.
    • Designs and launches employee and patient surveys, facilitates focus groups and interviews, creates dashboards in Qualtrics and Tableau, analyzes results, builds executive presentations, and delivers key insights back to HR and the business.
    • Conducts intake meetings with key stakeholders to understand business questions and advises on the appropriate method of gathering employee feedback.
    • Provides guidance on best practices in developing survey items.
    • Builds dashboards in Qualtrics and develops training resources.
    • Serves as the technical subject matter expert in Qualtrics.
    • Partners closely with Global Communications, HR Leadership & business stakeholders to develop and implement communication strategy prior to survey launch.
    • Conducts advanced statistical analyses to determine the effectiveness of key experience programs.
  • Advanced Analytics:
    • Consults with HR and the business to identify critical business questions involving the workforce.
    • Leads the execution of strategic deep-dive analytics projects.
    • Partners with HRBPs and the business to formulate business questions and hypotheses.
    • Conducts advanced statistical analyses across all parts of the employee lifecycle.
    • Identifies key insights and leverages data visualization tools to communicate results.
    • Tracks progress and evaluates effectiveness of action plans over time.
  • Job Analysis & Assessment:
    • Supports the execution of job analysis & assessment work.
    • Conducts scientific studies of roles to identify critical knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs).
    • Partners with internal team members and third-party consulting firms to conduct job analysis studies.
    • Continuously reviews the validity and adverse impact of pre-hire assessments.
    • Supports the development of capability assessments and rollout of developmental assessments.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning:
    • Supports the execution of strategic workforce planning projects for key workforce segments.
    • Conducts job analysis interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders.
    • Collects data to determine capability gaps and identifies key insights to inform talent management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
  • 6+ years of work experience in an I/O Consulting or People Analytics role, with a focus on Employee Listening / Experience for at least 3 of those years.
  • Successful track record of superior service delivery and change management in a global environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with Qualtrics (Surveys & Dashboards).
  • Proficient with Tableau.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills, including experience presenting to large audiences and senior leadership.
  • A strong intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand the future of work.
  • Proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve complex business problems.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data and quickly identify key findings.
  • Ability to frame analytic findings in a digestible and business-friendly format.
  • Must be able to create visually-appealing Executive Summaries using Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).
