[Hiring] People Tech Specialist II @Pinterest

Role Description

We’re seeking a talented People Technology Specialist who supports our People data, programs and processes with innovative and efficient technology solutions. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to analyze processes and technology gaps, design and configure solutions, and help implement Workday and other HRIS technologies. As a key member of the HR People Tech team, you’ll play an active role in simplifying, scaling, and delivering value from our technology platforms by ensuring seamless system adoption through comprehensive testing, training, and launch support.

• Create close working relationships with business stakeholders within and outside of the People team to be their go-to technology analyst.
• Evaluate existing technology and new requests, review them against our shared roadmap, and make recommendations about scope, timing, and solution scalability.
• Manage all the practical implementation tasks including driving requirement definition, solution design, config, testing, and implementation with project timelines.
• Use AI tools to streamline daily support tasks in Workday and People systems.
• Apply AI thoughtfully to reporting, documentation, and workflow optimizations.
• Keep good project hygiene practices across your portfolio of work.
• Work with other internal stakeholders and IT teams to deliver enhancements, support annual processes, and implement new technology in support of Pinterest.
• Partner closely with supporting analysts, providing direction and leading through project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Tech-savvy HR professional with 2+ years of HR Tech experience, including progressive experience with hands-on Workday configuration or 5+ years of people operations experience as Workday end-user.
• Experience delivering small to medium projects HRIS.
• Strong background in report writing, security, issue resolution, and system management.
• Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between processes, operations, systems, and solutions.
• A superb communicator, who can translate business needs into technical and process solutions.
• People who are passionate about scaling operations, processes, and tools in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration approximately two times per year and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
• This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $81,921 — $168,660 USD.
• Eligible for equity.
