[Hiring] Payroll Payments Associate @Safeguard Global

Role Description

As a Payroll Payments Associate, you’ll manage payroll payment file uploads across APAC and EMEA and banking platforms, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and strong controls. You’ll also support regional payroll administration and contribute to improving processes and payment operations.

• Upload and monitor payroll payment files across banking platforms, ensuring all required checks and approvals are completed within deadlines.
• Track payments through to completion, resolve rejected files or discrepancies, and coordinate with Payroll, Treasury, and other teams.
• Maintain payment templates, trackers, process documentation, and audit records.
• Support routine payroll and administrative activities across APAC and EMEA.
• Manage multiple payroll deadlines while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements and more efficient ways of working.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding actions.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, and basic formulas.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, structured data, and standard processes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, follow controls, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Experience in payroll, finance operations, banking, treasury, or payment operations is a plus.
• Exposure to international teams, banking portals, payment files, or payroll systems is desirable.
