Qualifications

• Experience in processing end-to-end Payroll or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience processing end-to-end payroll specifically for Germany and/or Switzerland.
• Professional fluency in German.
• Deep understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance standards within the DACH region.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Analytical mind and exceptional problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues and escalations.
• Thriving in a fast-paced, international environment: adaptable, enjoys collaborating across cultures, and strives to improve workflows for increased efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills: fluent in English, comfortable with asynchronous communication, and proficient in using collaboration tools like Slack.
• Team player: demonstrates the ability to mentor and support colleagues, collaborate effectively across departments, and manage escalations with confidence.
• Bonus points: experience working remotely is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Serve as specialist level support for all inquiries related to German and Swiss payroll runs, ensuring strict adherence to local compliance and tax regulations.
• Act as the specialist for all payroll-related matters in your assigned region or sub-region, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of any changes, delays, or updates.
• Function as a main point of contact for urgent issues and customer escalations and join customer video calls to find quick solutions.
• Work autonomously on customer escalations and diligently bring them to quick resolution.
• Collaborate seamlessly with various teams, including Customer Experience, Payroll Operations, and others, to deliver exceptional support and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• May be assigned to specific customers to deliver premium support, ensuring high satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
