Role Description

Reporting to the Director of People Analytics, the Manager of People Analytics will serve as a strategic business partner and technical leader with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition analytics and advanced/predictive workforce intelligence. This role bridges senior leadership needs with cutting-edge analytics solutions that generate measurable organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Talent Acquisition leadership and recruiting teams to understand hiring challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Serve as the primary analytics advisor for the TA function, building dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Design and develop predictive hiring models based on historical TA data patterns.
  • Develop prescriptive analytics that generate actionable recommendations for sourcing strategy and interview slate composition.
  • Build and maintain requisition-level, role-level, and BU-level TA metrics aligned to BD’s talent strategy.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic TA recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Design and develop advanced analytics solutions utilizing predictive modeling and statistical techniques.
  • Lead the development of predictive attrition and retention models.
  • Build regression, classification, and clustering models applied to TA use cases.
  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into well-defined technical solutions.
  • Drive innovation in people analytics by identifying opportunities to leverage BD data assets.
  • Employ statistical hypothesis testing and cohort analysis to validate TA program effectiveness.
  • Oversee the integration and management of complex HR and TA data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure quality, integrity, and governance of key TA datasets and metrics.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and IT partners to architect scalable TA analytics solutions.
  • Create aesthetically compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations using visualization tools.
  • Develop ongoing operational TA reports and KPI scorecards.
  • Build interactive hiring dashboards that provide real-time insights.
  • Design scenario-based workforce planning models.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify high-impact workforce analytics opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver advanced analytics solutions that connect people data to tangible business outcomes.
  • Serve as an analytics thought partner for HRBP teams.
  • Identify cross-functional connections between TA, retention, performance, and engagement data.
  • Present people analytics findings to VPs and business unit leaders.
  • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive reporting processes.
  • Design and deploy reusable automation scripts and Power BI solutions.
  • Document analytical processes, metric definitions, and model logic.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging analytics tools and platforms.
  • Coach and develop team members in technical skills and business partnership capabilities.
  • Provide mentorship on advanced analytics techniques.
  • Lead and inspire the team to challenge the status quo.
  • Build analytical capabilities across the TA and HR function.
  • Lead multiple complex TA analytics projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
  • Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and provide rapid-response analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Management, or related technical or business discipline.
  • Master’s degree in STEM field, Business Analytics, or HR Analytics preferred.
  • 6+ years of total professional experience with a strong blend of HR, Talent Acquisition, and analytics expertise.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Talent Acquisition analytics experience.
  • People analytics or workforce analytics experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Python for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI.
  • Strong foundation in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with advanced analytics and data science techniques.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
