Role Description

Start a new career as a Leave of Absence Specialist with Procare HR!

As the Leave of Absence Specialist, you will oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under:

• Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• State and local leave laws
• Short-Term/Long-Term Disability plans

This includes processing timely notifications and communications with client employees and supervisors regarding leaves and absences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering leave of absence/FMLA in a multi-state organization
• Working knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Workers’ Compensation, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and other paid leave programs
• General OSHA regulation and benefit plan knowledge, preferred
• PEO or HR Shared Services experience highly desirable
