[Hiring] Lead, Global HR Operations @Bjak

Role Description

You will lead HR Operations for BJAK's global team. You will own the operational foundation that supports employees across multiple countries, ensuring HR processes are accurate, compliant, and scalable as the company grows. This is a hands-on role. You will build and improve HR processes, manage global HR operations, and work with local partners and vendors to ensure a consistent employee experience across different markets.

What You Will Be Doing

• Own HR operations across the global employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Build and improve HR processes, policies, and SOPs that can scale across multiple countries.
• Oversee global HR systems, employee records, reporting, and data governance.
• Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, employment documentation, and statutory compliance with local partners and EOR providers where applicable.
• Ensure HR operations remain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready across all locations.
• Improve operational efficiency through process redesign, automation, and system improvements.
• Lead and develop the HR Operations function while partnering with leadership to support global expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Administration.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong understanding of global HR operations, employment documentation, payroll coordination, HR systems, and compliance.
• Experience building and improving HR processes in a fast-growing company.
• Strong operational mindset with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with process improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across different countries, cultures, and time zones.

Location

This role is remote, but candidates must be based in China. We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in China.

Language

English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
