This role will be remote in North America, with travel up to 15%.

A typical day will look like:

    • Provide guidance and recommendations to management on appropriate resolution strategies and corrective actions.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a specialist on employment laws and regulations, providing practical, solutions-oriented guidance to leaders and HR Business Partners.
    • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to promote positive associate relations through early intervention, conflict resolution support, and consistent application of policy and practice.
    • Act as a steward of Veralto’s culture by promoting holistic, fair, and consistent solutions; anticipating emerging risks; and helping drive a consistent, One Veralto, associate experience.
  • Strategic Partnership:
    • Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within assigned business units, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in labor and employee relations, and proactively share knowledge and expertise with internal stakeholders.
    • Lead functional teams and projects as required.
  • Training Design and Delivery:
    • Design best-in-class comprehensive training programs on topics such as conflict resolution, positive associate training, and workplace conduct.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Customize training materials to meet the specific needs of different business units and employee groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or closely related HR roles.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting complex workplace investigations, handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience delivering or supporting training programs.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and regulations across the United States.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Canadian Employment Law.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting union or collective bargaining environments.
  • Professional certification such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience supporting public company, global, multi-site, or multi-business-unit environments.

Benefits

  • A flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
  • Paid holidays and a permissive paid time off policy emphasizing flexibility and trust.
  • Ongoing investment in your career through dedicated training, on-the-job development, and coaching.
  • Total rewards that support your success at work and beyond, including comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with employer match, and associate wellbeing programming with rewards.
