Role Description

As a Human Resources Manager, you’ll be part of our Stanley Engineered Fastening (SEF) Americas Human Resources team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:

• Partner closely with senior leaders and help lead the people agenda across key business functions.
• Blend strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational support, influencing talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
• Prioritize and drive multiple key HR initiatives and requests simultaneously.
• Own and lead employee relations matters, partnering with legal and leadership to ensure a fair, consistent, and positive workplace.
• Drive impact through the annual Talent Review process.
• Consult with and provide recommendations on organizational design to enable business growth.
• Drive recruitment activities including position management, interviewing, sourcing, and new hire orientation.
• Build organizational capabilities to address resource and operational challenges.
• Work closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as payroll, benefits, and compensation.
• Champion change management by providing leadership the resources to shape the organization’s culture.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on a wide range of business and people issues.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and HR best practices.
• Build and drive a positive people & culture strategy aligned with business plans and strategic objectives.
• Gather and analyze HR data to provide insights and develop solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience as an HR generalist, with a strong emphasis on employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in HR or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience supporting remote and diverse teams.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data using Workday reporting functions.
• Customer focused, adaptable, with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Experience fostering collaborative working relationships with business partners.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and resourceful.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills in complex employee situations.
• Track record of building collaborative relationships and driving results.
• Ability to plan, manage, and track projects effectively.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and proactively finding solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10-15% as required.
