Role Description

Dalcom Engineering is seeking a part-time Human Resources Intern to assist with recruiting and general office support. This position is a good opportunity for a college student interested in gaining hands-on experience in human resources, recruiting, and business operations. The position can be flexible around a full-time college schedule, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Dalcom is only accepting applications from HUBZone-eligible candidates for this position.

• Assist with reviewing and screening applicants in Dalcom's applicant tracking system.
• Help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Prepare a weekly summary of qualified candidates for management.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews.
• Participate in candidate interviews as class schedule and availability allow.
• Help maintain recruiting and applicant records.
• Assist with job postings and other recruiting activities.
• Provide general office and administrative support as needed.
• Assist with other HR and company projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Interest in Human Resources, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working with basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle applicant and employee information professionally and confidentially.
• Prior HR or recruiting experience is not required.
