    • Conduct HR research and translate findings into practical, business-focused guidance for client review.
    • Draft and update employee handbooks, workplace policies, manager tools, job descriptions, HR procedures, employee communications, and other client-facing materials.
    • Support HR compliance and risk assessments, including review of policies, practices, employee files, onboarding documentation, and multi-state requirements.
    • Assist with employee relations, performance management, leave and accommodation, wage-and-hour, classification, documentation, and other day-to-day HR matters under appropriate senior guidance.
    • Support compensation benchmarking, recruiting and talent acquisition, workforce planning, HR process improvement, and other HCA projects as assigned.
    • Use HCA research and technology resources, including compliance, handbook, compensation, and HR technology platforms, to support accurate and timely client work.
    • Prepare polished client deliverables and ensure work is complete, organized, well-supported, and ready for senior review.
  • HR Foundations & Workforce Process Support
    • Help clients strengthen core HR infrastructure through consistent policies, documentation, processes, and manager practices.
    • Support regulatory monitoring and research across federal, state, and local employment requirements.
    • Assist with employee handbook and policy development, HR file audits, new-hire process reviews, and foundational compliance projects.
    • Develop practical tools that help managers execute HR responsibilities consistently, including checklists, templates, guides, and documentation resources.

    • Support HCA's LinkedIn presence by helping coordinate content calendars, draft or refine HR-focused content, prepare posts for review, and assist with publishing workflows.
    • Assist with HCA newsletters, articles, webinars, presentations, client education materials, and other thought-leadership initiatives.
    • Support conferences, SHRM events, sponsorships, networking activities, speaking engagements, and other HCA marketing or business-development events.
    • Help maintain marketing materials, proposal content, client-facing resources, and HCA service information.
    • Collaborate with Sorren's marketing professionals to help ensure HCA content and activities are timely, professional, brand-aligned, and relevant to target audiences.
  • Practice Operations & Collaboration
    • Maintain organized client files, project trackers, deliverable schedules, research documentation, and engagement records.
    • Track assigned project progress and communicate risks, delays, questions, or scope concerns promptly.
    • Accurately record billable time and support project and billing documentation in accordance with practice expectations.
    • Collaborate effectively with HCA leadership and professionals across Sorren's advisory, accounting, tax, assurance, marketing, and operational teams.

  • Collaboration across a remote, multi-disciplinary team
  • Adaptability in a growing and evolving advisory practice
