Role Description

The HR Technology Integrations Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's Workday integration ecosystem. This role ensures the reliable exchange of HR, payroll, benefits, finance, and third-party application data through the design, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Workday integrations.

The analyst serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Information Technology, and external vendors to ensure seamless data flow, system reliability, and compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in Workday integration technologies, data mapping, troubleshooting, testing, and process automation, along with a solid understanding of HR business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Systems Administration
    • Support the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Workday integrations and related data interfaces.
    • Manage and troubleshoot integration failures, errors, and data discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
    • Maintain integration schedules, configurations, documentation, and support procedures.
    • Participate in Workday releases, updates, and feature deployments, including impact assessments and testing activities.
    • Collaborate with Workday functional teams to support changes affecting integrations and downstream systems.
    • Support the day-to-day administration and maintenance of HR technology platforms, such as Workday, VNDLY, and other integrated HR systems.
    • Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolutions, and escalate technical problems when appropriate.
    • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and new feature implementations.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Perform data audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
    • Support data requests from HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.
  • Systems Integrations
    • Monitor and support integrations between HR systems and third-party applications.
    • Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot integration failures and resolve data transmission issues.
    • Lead in implementing new integrations and enhancements to improve data flow and operational efficiency.
    • Validate data mappings and facilitate end-to-end testing during implementation projects.
  • Process Improvement
    • Analyze HR business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
    • Document business requirements, process flows, and system configurations.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects involving HR technology implementations and enhancements.
    • Identify opportunities to standardize processes and reduce manual work.
  • User Support & Training
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday integration technologies and data flows.
    • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve integration issues and support business objectives.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to HR users, managers, and employees.
    • Create and manage user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
    • Communicate integration impacts, timelines, risks, and status updates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Deliver training sessions for new system functionality and process updates.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Implement processes to ensure HR systems comply with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards.
    • Support audits related to HR systems and employee data.
    • Maintain documentation of system changes, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting Workday integrations, HRIS or HR technology platforms.
  • Experience with Workday, VNDLY, or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
  • Experience with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, Workday Studio, and/or Cloud Connect.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes including recruiting, onboarding, core HR, payroll, benefits, and contingent workforce management.
  • Experience supporting system integrations using APIs, EIBs, middleware, or other integration technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting and analytics tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work pro-actively, independently and multi-task on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Studio, PECI, WECI, and custom integration knowledge.
  • Experience supporting global HR and payroll integrations.
  • Experience with HR system implementations or major enhancement projects.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security administration, and compliance requirements.
