[Hiring] Head of Talent & People @RoboStrategy

Role Description

We are seeking a Head of Talent & People to lead all recruiting at RoboStrategy and to own the people function that supports it. We are a small, fast-growing team building a publicly listed investment platform, hiring across investment, research, distribution, compliance, marketing, and operations. We are looking for someone who has done this at a fund before and knows the market for investment talent.

• Run every search at the firm, whether directly or through external partners you select and manage.
• Build the sourcing capability that makes us less dependent on external partners.
• Own people operations end to end, from payroll and benefits to compensation, performance, and culture.
• Report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, combined with hands-on responsibility for people operations, including payroll, benefits, HR systems, and policies.
• Experience recruiting at an asset management firm or investment fund is expected.
• Experience at a publicly listed fund or asset manager is strongly preferred.
• Experience with a 1940 Act registered fund is a plus.
• Record of hires personally sourced and closed, including candidates who were not on the market.
• Familiarity with the roles a fund hires for, including investment, research, distribution, and sales.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting hiring at an investment advisor or registered fund is a plus.
• Working knowledge of US employment law and remote employment across multiple jurisdictions.
• AI-native in how you work, using AI daily to source and research candidates.
