Role Description

Inside Out is a US-based premium placement firm matching executive assistants—and increasingly other high-value roles—with American founders and executives who pay a premium for speed and quality. Demand is completely solved through our paid advertising and in-house sales team, meaning you will never have to find a client. Your job is to run and grow the machine that delivers for them.

This is a senior seat reporting directly to the founder. You will have true ownership of the delivery side of the business and share in the financial upside as we scale.

What You Will Own

• Time-to-fill: Managing the timeline from signed client to placed candidate.
• The Bench: Maintaining a pipeline of fully screened, interview-ready candidates for our highest-volume roles.
• Team Performance: Leading an operations coordinator, recruiters/screeners, and sourcing support while establishing productivity standards and scorecards.
• Quality Control: Ensuring placement quality and 90-day retention (replacements come directly out of our margin).
• Process Optimization: Managing our ATS pipeline (JazzHR), sourcing channels, and overall candidate experience.
• Scale & Expansion: Driving more placements per month without quality slipping, and expanding the roles we place as the business grows.

Your First 90 Days

• Audit the current pipeline, bench, and screening processes to identify what is working and what isn't.
• Set the fill-speed and quality standards the team will be held to, putting scorecards in place to track them.
• Rebuild the candidate bench so a signed client is never waiting on sourcing.
• Establish a daily and weekly operating rhythm that keeps every open search moving.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in recruitment with real leadership experience (ran an agency, branch, or perm desk with P&L or billings responsibility).
• Experienced in managing recruiters and holding a firm quality bar under speed pressure.
• Highly data-driven: you know your placements per month, fill times, and fall-off rates cold.
• Calm, structured, decisive, and ruthless with prioritization—you don't drop balls.
• Comfortable working US-aligned hours remotely.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools to screen, source, and move faster.
• A builder at heart: comfortable rewriting broken processes or scaling a half-built function.
• Experience placing into US, UK, or Australian clients is strongly preferred.
