[Hiring] Employee Relations Manager @Saks

Role Description

As the Employee Relations Manager you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, managing complex employee relations issues across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices. In this role you are responsible for:

• Reviewing disciplinary action requests.
• Conducting objective investigations into misconduct and ethics violations.
• Providing risk-insulated, policy-driven recommendations to leadership and various business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years dedicated strictly to employee relations or workplace investigations.
• Proven experience supporting a multi-site, diverse workforce, specifically including retail hourly staff, supply chain/distribution center personnel, and corporate professionals.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to remain objective, untangle complex interpersonal situations, and make sound, defensible judgments.
• Verifiable track record of success partnering with senior leaders, serving as a credible and trusted resource.
• Technologically astute strong computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint web browsers and tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in retail environment is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment.
