Role Description

As a Driver Recruiter, Talent Acquisition, you'll be empowered to:

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies
• Build talent pipelines
• Establish GXO as an employer of choice for transportation professionals

What You'll Do:

• Recruit for CDL and non-CDL driver positions across multiple GXO locations
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
• Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified driver candidates to support current and future hiring needs
• Utilize sourcing tools, job boards, social media, referral networks, and direct outreach techniques to identify qualified candidates
• Build relationships with drivers and create positive candidate experiences throughout the hiring process
• Partner closely with Operations, HR, Compliance, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Coordinate and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of recruiting processes and associated documentation
• Represent GXO at hiring events, job fairs, community events, and transportation industry networking opportunities
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
• Monitor open requisitions and proactively identify opportunities to improve hiring speed and candidate flow
• Assist in developing recruiting campaigns and sourcing strategies to support hard-to-fill locations and positions
• Utilize recruiting metrics and reports to help drive hiring effectiveness and process improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting or staffing initiatives
• Experience sourcing candidates using job boards, social media, networking, or other recruiting tools
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Requirements

• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
• Experience recruiting CDL drivers, transportation professionals, logistics employees, or other operations talent
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM tools
• Knowledge of transportation, trucking, logistics, or supply chain industries
• Experience with candidate sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, or similar tools
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hiring requirements
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Experience supporting multi-site or high-volume recruiting environments
• Ability to analyze recruiting activity and use data to improve hiring outcomes
