[Hiring] Director, HR Business Partner @Circana

Role Description

This role serves as the strategic HR Business Partner for Circana's Corporate Functions organization, partnering with senior leaders across Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Corporate Strategy. Working closely with the People Generalist HRBP team and Centers of Excellence, you will help shape workforce strategy, talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership capability while ensuring people priorities are aligned to business objectives.

This Director, HR Business Partner role is a strategic advisor to senior corporate leadership. This is not a day-to-day HR execution role. Instead, you will partner with executives to:

• Build the capabilities required to support future business growth

Reporting to the VP, HRBP for Corporate Functions & Business ATP, this role is ideal for a proactive, business-minded leader who:

Given the seniority and sensitivity of the population supported, this role also provides strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters and requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and credibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders and executives
• Strong employee relations expertise, including advising on complex and sensitive matters involving senior leaders and executives
• Experience supporting corporate functions such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR, Strategy, or similar organizations strongly preferred
• Understanding of corporate operations and the unique dynamics of supporting functional (non-revenue-generating) teams
• Strong executive presence and the judgment to handle highly confidential matters with discretion
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders, navigate organizational complexity, and build trusted relationships that influence business outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively
• Inclusive leadership style characterized by humility, courage, and high emotional intelligence
• Strong program management skills, with experience leading initiatives from strategy through execution
• Strong foundation across key Human Resources disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, change management, organizational development, and learning
• Experience with workforce budgeting and financial planning
• Self-starter who demonstrates innovation, resourcefulness, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with UKG preferred

• Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on complex, sensitive employee relations matters
• Build trusted, confidential relationships across the organization that support early identification of ER risk before it escalates
• Partner closely with Legal on matters requiring cross-functional coordination
