Role Description

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Coordinator to join our team! The Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Coordinator is responsible for functioning as a CIE referral specialist that would work with families and individuals with I/DD to provide linkages to available employment related services. The responsibilities would include the following:

• Educating members to make informed choices.
• Ensuring employment assessments are conducted with the proper tools.
• Assisting in applying for supporting services.
• Community outreach.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Accreditation requirements.
• Assisting with ensuring that the organization maintains compliance with these requirements and state allocation requirements.

On a typical day, you might:

• Review Employment Assessment & Career Development Plans for accuracy and state standards.
• Follow up with providers regarding employment assessments.
• Collaborate with providers regarding services and supports.
• Ensure providers are submitting data for required state reporting.
• Collect Proof of Employment form and documentation (paystub, Employment Verification Letter) to support employment for each member.
• Track and monitor completion of all required documentation by provider and member.

Qualifications

• Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) status.
• Fully licensed by the NC governing board regulating Human Services professions; OR
• Fully licensed RN who is licensed to practice in the state of NC by the NC Board of Nursing with four (4) years of full-time experience with the MH/DD/SA population served; OR
• A graduate of a college or university with a Master’s degree in a human service field and one year of full-time, pre or post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience; OR
• A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field and two years of full-time, pre or post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience; OR
• A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and four years of full-time, pre or post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within Trillium’s Southern or South Central Region, which includes specific counties.
• Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
