As an integral part of the team, the Compensation Consultant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department’s programs, which may include:

• Job evaluation
• Performance appraisal
• Salary administration
• Incentive programs

Plan compensation programs, procedures, and practices to ensure consistency with the organization's overall objectives and compliance with professional standards, and state and federal regulatory requirements. This is a remote position; candidates may reside anywhere within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of current Federal, State, and local compensation laws and regulations
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
• Previous experience with survey management (PayScale, MarketPay, etc.)
• Ability to act effectively as a consultant with all levels of staff (including executive level)
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to influence and collaborate with others
• Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• Human Resources or Compensation professional designation preferred

Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in compensation
