Role Description

The Change Management Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that projects (change initiatives) meet objectives. The primary responsibility is to support and implement change management strategies and operational plans that facilitate and maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

A change management specialist focuses on supporting the Change Team in maximizing and optimizing resources and plans utilizing a variety of disciplines. Change specialists help move organizational change forward by:

• Building an awareness of and a desire for committing to change
• Supporting employees as they build the proper skills and tools they need to enact change
• Establishing a bond of trust and strong two-way communication mechanisms
• Collaborating and assisting in developing change strategy
