Role Description
Securonix is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team at a leading cybersecurity company. This internship provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including:
- Talent acquisition
- Employee engagement
- Compliance
- HR operations
The intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain valuable insights into HR best practices in a fast-paced, security-driven industry.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience communicating with impact and utilizing strong collaborating and influencing skills
- Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to various audience levels within an organization
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)
Requirements
- Help maintain and update HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support the development and execution of new hire orientation programs and assist in scheduling training sessions
- Contribute to company culture projects, including employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and internal communications
- Provide administrative support for HR functions, including organizing HR files, responding to employee inquiries, and assisting with special projects as needed
