Role Description
Extropy Advisors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Lead to join our team. As an HR Lead, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our human resources functions. This includes:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offers.
- Coordinating and improving the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
- Administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and communications.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assisting in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Supporting performance management processes, including reviews, feedback sessions, and development plans.
- Staying updated on HR best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Assisting in organizing training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Function-specific Operational Support:
- Helping maintain and organize operational documentation.
- Assisting in preparing internal reports and presentations.
- Supporting the team with research tasks.
- Aiding in process improvement initiatives.
- Helping track and organize team resources.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Learning business etiquette and professional communication.
- Developing organizational and time management skills.
- Building proficiency in business software and tools.
- Gaining exposure to business best practices.
- Participating in relevant training sessions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a generalist or specialist capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Experience with handling people issues.
- Experience with recruiting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and payroll systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with employee engagement and retention strategies.
Benefits
- Compensation: $60,000-$70,000
- Annual bonus based on performance, up to 15% of annual salary
- 50%-75% employer covered insurance premium
