Role Description
UBB is currently recruiting for a Vice President, Loan Review Services Manager who will lead and oversee loan review and loan consulting services provided to community bank clients. Reporting to the Revenue & Relationships leader, this senior role manages client engagements, team performance, department financial goals, and business development efforts.
This is generally a remote, work-from-home position that requires self-discipline and self-motivation.

Hybrid/Onsite Option: Candidates in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area will have the option of working from the UBB Headquarters in Richfield, MN.
Essential Responsibilities

Manage the loan review process for client banks by providing high quality, value added consultative services.

Manage a staff of loan review consultants to include scheduling, monitoring the quality of job performance, and training.

Manage the activities of the department to ensure that agreed upon financial goals are met.

Conduct meetings with customers to relay the results of information gathered in the review.

Conduct sales calls to prospective customers and manage the calling efforts of staff. This includes following up on leads provided by others and prospecting independently to find business.

Maintain accurate records of activities and provide periodic reports on progress against agreed upon goals and objectives.

Attend various meetings, events and other programs in order to seek business, maintain customer relations and represent the bank to the highest possible standards.

Conduct periodic maintenance calls to existing clients.

Remain up-to-date on trends and developments in the industry to keep product knowledge current and to be able to recommend changes to our product offering.

Stay abreast of products, pricing and sales initiatives of key competitors.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field.

5+ years of experience in loan or credit consulting.

5+ years of experience managing people, processes and the financial performance of a department.

Thorough understanding of credit, particularly commercial credit, regulatory requirements, and accounting.

Thorough understanding of the theory and practice of loan review, loan grading, and ALLL.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Able to effectively present information to top management and boards of directors.

Ability to travel up to 10% with half of that travel or more being overnight.
